We are a specialist home to school transport provider across the north east and Cumbria and looking to expand our services to the Scottish regions

1.  I would be grateful if you could provide information on Home to School Transport spend for SEND
If possible broken down by 2 age groups – up to 16 and 16- 19

2.  What was the budget and actual spend for fiscal year 23/24

3.  What is the budget for fiscal year 24/25

4.  How many SEND pupils are there currently – up to 16 and 16-19

5.  How many routes & Journeys do you currently require to be provided by private hire/minibus vehicles

6.  How many routes are to schools within your district

7.  How many routes are to schools in other local authority districts

1. We only hold by category not age. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

2. 2023 – 2024 spend £752,374.00. Budget is set for all aspects of Home to School Transport and reconciled at end of year so there is no specific SEND budget.

3. 2025 spend to date is £266,739.00. Budget is set for all aspects of Home to School Transport and reconciled at end of year so there is no specific SEND budget.

4. We only hold by category not age. Currently 134. Exemption under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

5. Currently 44 routes.

6. Currently 43 routes.
