1. Can the Council provide financial details on how much money was spent on flood elevation on areas of village owned by Newmill Estates in Newmilll village?

2. Can the Council provide financial details where the land owner Newmill Estates was liable for flood repairs but could not be found and recharged by Council Legal department?

1. Phase 1 total construction costs were £274k and Phase 2 £1.22 million.

2. Not held. We do not hold this detail. The flood scheme was designed to protect property in Newmill and was designed and constructed in line with the practice of that time and statutory and legal process were followed in line with duty and good practice. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
