To signal our continued support for the Armed Forces, Moray Council re-signed the updated Armed Forces Covenant in 2021. This commitment reflects our dedication to ensuring that our schools give due regard to the unique needs of Armed Forces families in their educational provisions.Through the Dandelion Project, we offer a range of information, resources and Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) opportunities to enhance the support available within schools.

A 15-20 minute 'e-learning' training module designed to raise awareness of the Armed Forces community and the Armed Forces Covenant.
Supporting Your Armed Forces Community
In this short course, you'll learn how to recognise members of the Armed Forces community, explore the challenges they experience and reflect on the impact you can have in your role.
The Dandelion Project works with schools to enhance existing support for Armed Forces families.
Training workshops are available to gain a deeper understanding of the Armed Forces context in Moray, raise awareness and explore additional ways to support children and young people in school. To schedule a session at your school, please get in contact.

The Dandelion Project is featured on Moray Council's 'Our Moray Toolkit' Glow site on SharePoint. This platform offers valuable resources, helpful links and access to the 'Learning Hub,' which includes Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) opportunities.
