FOI Request - Greenfingers Project and Service Users

1.  Please provide the welfare and well-being impact assessments, anonymised of course, of the closure on current Greenfingers service users

2.  Please describe the alternative provisions being put in place to support current Greenfingers service users after closure

3.  One of the justifications put forward for closing the project is the lack of recent referrals. Please describe the current arrangements for making referrals and provide information about the number of potential service users who have reached various stages in the referral process over the period 2019 to the present.

1. The low numbers associated with this response may result in the identification of individuals. Therefore this response is exempt under Section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - personal information.

2. These are being discussed as part of social work conversations with the people receiving the service.  This process is still underway and the alternative provision will be down to individual choice.

From October 2022 until present, 21 people were referred to the service with 15 of those choosing to go elsewhere or not to receive a service. 6 People accepted a service at Greenfingers.
