FOI Request - Garmouth Viaduct

I am seeking information about the condition of the Spey Viaduct which is, I understand, owned by the Moray Council, and which is part of the National Cycle Network and is used as a footpath across the Spey from Garmouth to Dallachy/Spey Bay.

My concern is that there has been no maintenance to its essential structure since 1968, when it ceased to be used for railway traffic, and that at some point without maintenance it might become unstable/unsafe.

I am by this email submitting a Freedom of Interest request relating to structural surveys of the Garmouth Viaduct and the outcomes of any such surveys, to include:

     1. communication relating to this issue between Council officials

     2. communication relating to this issue between Council officials and elected members

     3. communication relating to this issue between Council officials and elected members (on the one hand) and (on the other hand) Scottish Government, other agencies, external contractors, representative bodies, members of the public
