Under FOI legislation can you advise why many Caravan parks in your area have outdated licenses. In some cases they have not been reissued since 2008. Whereby the legislation calls for a five year renewal plan.

Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960
The licensing of Relevant Permanent Sites (Scotland) Regulations 2016
In terms of Section 32J of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960, a site licence for a relevant permanent sites in Scotland lasts for 5 Years. The Residential caravan Sites in Moray are currently going through the licence renewal process.
There is no fixed duration in respect of Holiday Caravan sites. Once a licence is issued in respect of a Holiday Caravan Site it will stay in force until such time as the conditions of the site or ownership of the site changes.
