1. How many food allergy training courses have been run for local authority school staff in each of the past five years?
2. How many and how much has been spent on food allergy public awareness campaigns in each of the past five years?

1. The Catering department-staff are trained on allergy awareness on their induction to the post and a toolbox talk is completed every term which is 4 per year within sites.
2. We have not carried out any public awareness campaigns specifically in relation to allergens. Information is available on our website, and Food Standards Scotland carried out an awareness campaign when the legislation was recently amended.
