UK Shared Prosperity Arts, Culture and Heritage Funding

Moray Council is inviting local organisations in the arts, culture and heritage sectors to apply for revenue grants of up to £20k.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund grant can only be used for revenue costs attached to project proposals such as, but not limited to, putting on events, performances and activities, running costs, wages and professional fees, or for trips and excursions.

A total of £109,800 is available this round. You can apply for up to £20,000 if you are a group of organisations working in partnership. You can apply for up to £10,000 if you are a single organisation. Projects should take place in Moray and benefit the people of Moray.

Applicants are welcome to attend a Q&A and Networking event to discuss the grants. This will be held on Wednesday 24 April 4pm to 6pm at Elgin Library Gallery room. Please email Arts&CultureUKSPF@moray.gov.uk if you would like to attend this event.


The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
