I am dissatisfied with the manner in which the Council has dealt with my request for information.  I have still  not received a response to my last email of 27 February 2024, and therefore consider that I have still not had a satisfactory answer to question 2 of my original request. I would like to ask the Council to review its actions.

Following your request for a review (review ref: 101003542189) of your Freedom of Information (FOI) Request - Moray Council Autism Strategy 2014-2024 ref: 101003474947, a review meeting was held on 19th April 2024. In attendance were the Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer, Integrated Service Manager, Solicitor, and Information Co-ordinator.

Your FOI Request from 17th January 2024 was discussed.

We reviewed our response of 14th February, along with the responses to subsequent follow-up queries. Firstly, we would like to apologise for the confusion on our part in our initial response; the link in our response to your question 2 was inserted in error.

It was also found that we should have been more explicit in our response to your question 1 in that we, even if we had identified the member of staff responsible for this Action Plan, would only have given out the name of the Head Of Service. We confirm that the person responsible for the Moray Council Autism Strategy 2014-2024 is ultimately the Head of Service: Chief Social Work Officer Tracy Stephen.

Regarding the delay in providing the information you requested, this was due to key personnel having left the Council since the document you are requested was formulated. The Action Plan has now been located; please find it attached. Please accept our apologies for the delay in getting this information to you.
