1.  Has Moray Council being the responsible authority in the event of a nuclear/biological attack taken part in simulated attack exercises.

2.  What plans are in place in the Moray Council area to safeguard the safety and well-being of its population in the event of a nuclear attack.

1. & 2. Not held. Please note that the Council is not the responsible authority in the event of a nuclear or biological attack. The National Risk Register (available on the UK Gov website here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/64ca1dfe19f5622669f3c1b1/2023_NATIONAL_RISK_REGISTER_NRR.pdf ) states that “Local authorities are required to support wider consequence management” only.
