Please provide
1. a breakdown of the cost to Moray Council of operating kerbside garden waste recycling for 2023,
2. projected operating cost for 2024,
3. revenue generated by brown bin permits in 2023 and
4. projected revenue from brown bin permits in 2024.

1. & 2.  Not held. green waste collections is not a service provided in isolation. Green waste is collected as a mixed material along with food waste which we are duty- bound to collect. Therefore costs are incurred to service bins containing food waste only. If green waste is presented in a bin without a valid permit, then the bin is not serviced. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

3. £791,964 - Based on 21,999 permits sold at £36.00 per permit.

4. £1,100,000 - Based on the average number of permit sales (22,000) at £50.00 per permit.
