FOI Request - Mobile Libraries

I am writing to make an FOI request regarding Mobile Libraries.
Specifically, I am asking:

1. How many mobile libraries does your local authority have in operation, broken down by year, since 2016?
2. Whether your local authority have any plans to reduce the numbers of mobile libraries in operation in 2024, and if so, by how many?

Response 06-02-2024

1. From 2016 we have had one mobile library vehicle.

2. This will be retired in April this year and be replaced with alternative service in line with the budget proposals taken forward in December.
