FOI Request - Member Enquiries by Councillors 2022/2023

1. Please advise the number of pieces of "casework" raised by each councillor with the authority in the financial year 2022/23 - as a list with the number of queries each councillor has logged. Please include all queries officially logged by each councillor - whether on behalf of a resident or where the councillor has raised the query on his own account.

1. Section 17 - information not held. Departments do not routinely record enquiries from Councillors, as such there is no comprehensive list of enquiries held.

Departments may hold some records of queries made by Councillors, such as in email inboxes. However, given the number of departments and Councillors, the cost to locate and gather this information from each individual Council department would cost the Council in excess of £600. In accordance with Section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 we are therefore unable to provide this information. However, it is possible that individual Councillors may hold their own records and you are free to contact them individually.
