1. How many people are known to reside in the local authority area with No Recourse To PubIic Funds status (NRPF).

2. How many people with NRPF status have received support from the council in the last three financial years. Please break this down by year.

3. How much has the council spent on supporting people with NRPF status in the each of the last three financial years? If possible please break this down by type of support provided.

Response 15-12-2023

1. We currently have 38 Asylum seekers in a hotel in Moray who have no NRPF, they are under the full dispersal model for Asylum.

2. We only received Asylum seekers in June this year; they are overseen by MEARS Housing who are contracted to run the full dispersal model in Scotland. The resettlement team and NHS only provide Health Assessments and access to GPs. All other areas are done by volunteers.

3. Not held. We do not spend any money on the Asylum seekers as they have NRPF. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
