1) In each of the last five financial years (up to and including March 2023), how much money has the council recovered from charging orders? For clarity, I am looking for money recovered from people who have incurred a debt with the council for residential care costs. Please provide the total amount recovered in each year and the number of charging orders those sums relate to in each year.
2) In each of the last five financial years (up to and including March 2023), how many appeals have been made against charging orders? By this I mean how many times have individuals appealed to the council not to recover funds through the use of charging orders? How many of these appeals have been successful?
3) In each of the last five financial years (up to and including March 2023), how many legal challenges have been raised in an attempt to stop enforcement of charging orders? How many have been successful?
