Keith Green Energy & Infrastructure Framework
The Keith Green Energy and Infrastructure Framework was approved at the Planning and Regulatory Services Committee on 19 December 2023. Developed in response to increasing development pressures in the immediate vicinity of Keith and Blackhillock, the framework seeks to guide development proposals for grid infrastructure and energy systems/storage associated with renewable energy to the most appropriate locations in and around Keith. Using the findings of a landscape sensitivity assessment, potential development sites for a range of uses are identified, along with the associated landscape mitigation required.
