Please can you tell me how many reports of racism towards pupils there have been in secondary schools in your local authority in the 2022/23 school year.

I would like annual figures for the 2022/23 school year.

These are the numbers for bullying & equalities incidents reported for 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23 to date:

2020/21 - 16
2021/22 - 14
2022/23 - 15 (up to 6th April 2023)

The incidents included were for the following two perceived reasons - RACE AND RACISM INCLUDING CULTURE and RELIGION OR BELIEF.
