Under The Freedom of Information Act 2000, could you please provide the following data as three tables, ideally in .csv or .xlsx format:

1. Vapes/e-cigarettes confiscated from schools in your council area in the last five academic years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23), broken down by the age of the student.

2. Knives confiscated from schools in your council area in the last five academic years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23), broken down by the age of the student.

3. Guns (including pellet guns, BB guns and air rifles) confiscated from schools in your council area in the last five academic years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23), broken down by the age of the student.

4. Total number of weapons confiscated from schools in your council area in the last five academic years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23), broken down by the age of the student

Q1. Any vaping incidents would be recorded in each pupil's personal record, which would involve looking through every pupil's record. This would cost the Council in excess of £600. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, excessive cost, we are therefore unable to comply with your request.
