1. Could you please provide the number of vapes confiscated in schools - broken down by primary and secondary (and age of pupil if recorded) - over the past three years?

1. Any information on vapes confiscated from pupils would be recorded in their pupil record. We would have to look in every pupil file to get this information which would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time - Approx 12200 pupils x 5 minutes per file x 3 years = 3050 hours. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this request.
