FOI Request - Vacant Houses in Elgin

I would like to make a request for information on the vacant houses at Pinegrove, Elgin.

I understand from an article published that the houses have been purchased by Moray Council and 'some' are to be allocated to people on the Moray Council housing list.

Can you please advise as to what is happening to the other properties that are not being allocated to those people on the housing list.

We can advise that the majority will be for mainstream allocation to Council Housing List applicants, while some have been made available to the UK Home Office as potential accommodation for refugees.  Those designated for allocation are being allocated in terms of our Allocation Policy.
