FOI Request - Asylum Seekers

I’m writing to make a request under the FOI Act. Please could you tell me whether there are any asylum seekers being accommodated in hotels your local authority area? To be clear, I am not asking you to provide any information that would directly identify, or reveal the specific address or ward area in which asylum seekers are being housed.

I would only like to know whether your local authority area is currently accommodating asylum seekers in a hotel or hotels, or not.

Not held. We currently have no asylum seekers in a hotel in Moray at present. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
