Please provide the following information. All questions relate to frontline adult social care staff, the staff who physically deliver the respite service.

1. Confirmation of whether or not the respite care service been fully restored to pre-pandemic? (i.e. the services and activities provided before lockdown have resumed in full).

2. How many weeks of respite care have been provided, and for how many clients, in the last five financial years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23), with a breakdown, if possible, by activity? (e.g. day care centres, homecare from a paid carer, a short stay in a care home, respite holidays, sitting services

3. How many weeks of respite care have private providers delivered on behalf of your local authority in the last five financial years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23), with a breakdown by activity? (e.g. day care centres, homecare from a paid carer, a short stay in a care home, respite holidays, sitting services

4. How much has been spent by the Council to pay private providers for delivering respite care on behalf of your local authority in the last five financial years (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23), with a breakdown by activity? (e.g. day care centres, homecare from a paid carer, a short stay in a care home, respite holidays, sitting services
