Request 101003265461
1. I would like to request under the Freedom of Information act data held by Moray Council relating to the amount of money paid out by the council concerning damage caused by potholes since 2016.
2. I would also like to receive the number of claims made against Moray Council and the number which have been settled. I would also like to know the number of outstanding cases against Moray Council.
3. I would appreciate it if this data could be broken down into damages/compensation paid to motorists and the amount the council has spent on legal costs.
4. I would also like information on the number of potholes Moray Council has awaiting repair on this date.

The closest data we have is the number of works instructions issued which are categorised as 'carriageway defects'. Not all of these instructions will be regarding potholes, and also some instructions may have been reporting several carriageway defects in the vicinity. To date there are 663.
