1.  How many children in the local authority area are eligible for free school meals in each school year (excluding Primary 1 to Primary 5)?

2.  Of those, how many in each school year are registered for free school meals?

As at the September 2022 census, there were 133 primary 6 and 128 primary 7 children registered for free school meals.

We do not hold information on children whose family do not claim free school meals, however our Revenues Service offers a single application form to claim multiple Council benefits, including free school meals.
