1.  Could you please tell me the late payment policy of the council for invoices they receive? And if there is none specified in contracts, what is the default policy for Moray Council?

2.  Are Moray Council aware of and actively a part of the Prompt Payment Code?

3.  Are the Moray council aware and adhere to the the late payment of commercial debt act (1998)?

4.  What percentage of invoices were paid by the council in 2021-2022?

5.  The total amount of charges/fees paid in addition to amounts due as a result of late payments made by Moray Council for 2021-2022?

6.  Which budget does these additional charges get deducted from?

1. Not held. The council does not have a late payment policy. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held. However, we do have a target for payment within 30 days – 85%

4. All invoices received are paid. Of those, 89.04% were paid within 30 days.
