Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA), I would like to request the following information regarding Local Access Officers and Rangers:
1) How many of the following positions were employed for each financial year since 2015/16:
a. Access Officer
b. Ranger
Please provide this information by number of staff and full time equivalent.
2) Please confirm the annual total spend for the following services for each financial year since 2015/16:
a. Access Office
b. Ranger Service

1a. One (Open Space Access & Policy Officer – 2 x FTEs)
1b. We do not have any Rangers but we do have one Countryside Officer who reports to the above post. Two temporary Ranger were employed for 3 months in 2022 to support visitor management pressures with these costs funded by an external grant.
