1. Could you please provide a list of all bids made by your local authority to the levelling up fund.
For each bid could you please provide:
a) The date the bid was submitted
b) The bid title and a brief description of what the bid was for, if available
c) The amount of money being requested from the fund
d) The name of any external contractors used in the bid
e) The amount paid to each of the external contractors used in the bid
f) The total estimated cost to the local authority of putting the bid together

a) We made a bid to the second round of the Levelling Up Fund which was submitted on 27/7/22.
b) the bid was titled Elgin City Centre Masterplan: Levelling Up Moray, aiming to;
* redevelop vacant buildings in the city centre; • reclaim the high street for pedestrians; • transform unused brownfield land into an attractive urban park; • restore Cooper Park; and • create 51 new homes, a boutique hotel, community arts centre, and new commercial and retail outlets.
c) £18,291,000
d) & e) This information is commercially sensitive so is therefore exempt under section 33 1(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002- Commercial Interests and Economy.
f) £325,000 of which £125,000 was received from UK Government as capacity funding
