1. How many additional support needs assessments for students and young people have taken place since 2014. Please provide a breakdown by calendar year.

1. These assessments are carried out within schools and we (the schools) would need to access individual pupil files to determine what assessments have been carried out over the 8 year period. We would  have to look in every pupil file to get this information. This task would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this part of the request.
