FOI Request - School Pupils

1.  The total number of recorded pupil-to-pupil fights at High School level on school property from 2017 to the current year.

2.  The total number of recorded assaults against teachers at High School level on school property from 2017 to the current year.

3.  The total number of pupils at High School level that were suspended from school following a violent attack on a teacher or pupil from 2017 to the current year.

4.  The total number of pupils at High School level that were charged by Police Scotland following an assault on a teacher or pupil from 2017 to the current year.

5.  The total number of pupils who were involved in a fight on school property was related to Mental Health from 2017 to the current year.

6.  The total number of full-time mental health counsellors from 2017 to the current year.

7.  The total number of part-time mental health counsellors from 2017 to the current year.

8.  The total number of pupils at High School level that were excluded from school following an assault on a fellow pupil and/or teacher from 2017 to the current year.

9.  The total number of that pupils were involved in fights who had previously been absent for mental health reasons .

10.  The total number of High School pupils that were sent to Mental Health courses after an assault on a teacher and/or pupil from 2017 to the current year.

11.  The total breakdown of weapons used against teachers by pupils from 2017 to the current year from 2017 to current year.

12.  The total amount of compensation paid out to teachers following an assault from a pupil from 2017 to the current year.

1. We would  have to look in every pupil file to get this information. This task would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this part of the request.
