For the past 5 academic years in your primary and secondary schools

1.  The number of physical assaults with use of a weapon against a pupil?

2.  The number of physical assaults with use of a weapon against a member of school staff?

3.  The number of attempted physical assault with use of a weapon against a pupil?

4.  The number of attempted physical assaults with use of a weapon against a member of school staff?

Response 15-12-2022 

1. & 3. As the information is contained in the pupil files we would have to look in each individual pupil's file and this would cost the Council in excess of £600. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, excessive cost, we are therefore unable to comply with your request.

2. & 4.
