Town Centre Greening Scheme Funding
Please read this Guidance Note
A total of £30,000 of funding has been made available in 6 towns in Moray for greening and planting in town centres. This has been made available through the Scottish Government Place Based Investment Plan.
What can the funding be spent on?
This funding can only be spent directly on plants and items which facilitate planting, e.g. soil, compost and planters. The funding must be spent by community groups.
What will not be supported?
Funding must not be spent on equipment or polytunnels. Funding must not be spent on replacement planting. Individuals and businesses are not eligible for funding.
Where can the funding be spent?
The 6 towns where funding will be available are:
• Aberlour
• Buckie
• Dufftown
• Forres
• Keith
• Lossiemouth
£5,000 will be available for spending in each town.
How can I apply for funding?
To apply, please complete the application form at top of this page (once completed please make sure you save this form onto your computer) and send it to localdevelopmentplan@moray.gov.uk or post it to Local Development Plan, Moray Council, PO BOX 6760, Elgin, IV30 1BX by 5pm on Friday, 3rd February 2023.
Who will get funding?
All applications will be assessed once the applications have closed.
