I would like to make the following request under the Freedom of Information Act:

1. In this council area, how many people were waiting for social care assessments* at the end of September 2022? Please also provide the data for the quarter ending June 2022 and March 2022, as well as for the 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 calendar years.
2. In this council area, what was the average (mean) completed wait for a social care assessment during the 2022 calendar year so far? Please also provide the average (mean) completed wait for a social care assessment in the 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 calendar years.
3. In this council area, what was the longest completed wait for a social care assessment during the 2022 calendar year so far? Please also provide the longest completed wait for a social care assessment in the 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 calendar years.
4. In this council area, what is the average (mean) ongoing wait for a social care assessment?
5. In this council area, what is the longest ongoing wait for a social care assessment?
6. Where delays in providing social care assessments have occurred, please outline the reasons for this.

* I am defining social care assessments as an ‘assessment of care needs’ i.e. an assessment carried out by care professionals from the local council's social care department to find out what individuals’ care needs are and how they can be met.
