FOI Request - Estimates for Cloddach Bridge

Request 101003156375

I have read the ONE estimate that you have printed for the Freedom of Information.

1. Please inform me now what the rest of the estimates were.

2. Please include the details of a Bailey Bridge which as I hope you know would be capable of moving thousands of tons of traffic and those still in situ after the Second World War are STILL in use and STILL can be built.

Response 21-10-2022

1. The estimate the Council has for this work is from the structural engineer who identified the potential options for the future operation of the bridge. These options have not been designed and the work has not been tendered.  It is only when the work is tendered that the Council would get tender prices for the replacement bridge. In short, this is the only estimate the Council has at this very early stage in the process. This information is not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

2. The Council has not considered a Bailey Bridge. Therefore this information is not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
