Under FOI I would please like to request the following:

1. How many claims have been made against the Council for damage incurred to cars as a result of hitting potholes and for how much in cost? Please provide data from 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22.
2. What is the breakdown of claims upheld and declined in the same period and the total paid out compared to total claimed.

1. 37 claims in 2019; 38 claims in 2020; 46 claims in 2021; 18 claims in 2022. Information for cost is not available. 

2. 2 settled in 2019 for £369.47 in total; 1 settled in 2020 for £1,609.61; 3 settled in 2021 for £1,284.52 ;     1 settled to date in 2022 for £1,067.79
