In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I would be grateful if you could provide the following information.

1. Please provide me with the number of primary 6 and Primary 7 pupils this school year who will no longer receive a free school meal but had done so when in primary 1-5.

The number of P6 children who are no longer eligible for FSM in 2022/23 under the P1-P5 universal school meal criteria is 871 (calculated as current P6 roll less financially eligible P6 children)

The number of P7 children who are no longer eligible for FSM in 2022/23 under the P1-P5 universal school meal criteria is 0 (as last year’s P6 cohort were not eligible)

In total, there are 1,777 P6 and P7 children who are not eligible for FSM in 2022/23 under the current universal school meal criteria:-
