FOI Request - Tempory Teacher Contracts

The Scottish Government has begun allocating money to local authorities to convert the contracts of temporary teacher posts to permanent contracts, at the discretion of local authorities to make the decisions for the most appropriate allocation.
I am looking for information on:

1. Your council’s progress on converting contracts from temporary to permanent (i.e. how many contracts have been converted and how many have been terminated/reached their conclusion),
2. A figure on how many temporary teacher staff your council currently has,
3.  Comparison of figures on temporary teachers for 2019, 2020, 2021.

Response 01-09-2022

1. Only one contract has been made permanent with Moray Council. All the other money has gone to NQTs (8 primary, 13 secondary) and if they failed / dropped out, the posts have been advertised as permanent opportunities. These have yet to be appointed however.
