Please can you send me any policy documents related to security or disaster management plans for archives and libraries in your council area?

This information is exempt from release under Section 30(c) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs.

Providing details of Emergency Response Plans or disaster management plans could compromise the safety of those running emergency operations during times of national emergencies and the information contained within the archive repository. This particularly applies to the location of the repository and the items within.

The public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it. Furthermore, the personal contact details within the Plan are exempt under 38(1)b personal information.
