I wish to make a Freedom of Information request for information on fees and other expenses paid to:

1 - Law firms and solicitors (and which law firms/solicitors). Can you specify what advice the fee was in relation to please. eg - childcare, housing, roads.

2 - the Scottish Courts Service or Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service. Can you specify what the fee was for please.

The period I'm seeking the information for is June 2017 to the date of this FOI request

2020-2021 - total external spend £126,326.07paid to Harper Macleod/Morton Fraser/DWF
2021-2022 - total external spend £148,131.41paid to Harper Macleod/Morton Fraser/DWF and Brodies
2022/2023  external spend so far* £35,408.75paid to Harper Macleod/Morton Fraser/DWF and Brodies

We have been unable to trace files for 2017 to 2019 - not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

The information we have since then is set out below:

30 April 2020 to 31 May 2021 - £3,704.00

1 June 2021 to 7 June 2022 - £2,709.00

All of the above expenses relate to one of the following:

Children cases, adults with incapacity, adoption and permanence orders, recovery of debt, recovery and repossession, expenses.
