FOI Request - Street Name Changes

This is an information request relating to changes to street names.

Please include the information for each of the following periods; 2020-21; 2021-22:
1) A list of all streets within the council’s remit which have had their names changed, including the original name and the new name
2) The cost of changing these street names
3) Any documents associated with the changes

1) We have not changed any street names over the period 2020-21; 2021-22.

For the purpose of providing information and assistance to Freedom of Information enquirers, we can advise that new street names were created in the Forres Enterprise Park area during the requested time period - these streets did not previously exist (and in some cases have yet to be built) so they're considered to be created rather than changed. Please see attached map for outline of area. The owner/developer of the site paid Moray Council the cost for purchasing and erecting the name plates. All name plates which the owner/developer has paid for have been erected covering the roads which have been allocated an official name.
