FOI Request - Elgin City Status Bid Spend

I’m writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act for the following information:

1. How much money did the Council spend on preparing Elgin's bid for the 2022 Platinum Jubilee Civic Honours Competition?

2. What is the total amount budgeted for promotional activities concerning the town’s bid during the remainder of the competition?

3. A full electronic copy of the bid document as submitted to the Government

1. How much money did the Council spend on preparing Elgin's bid for the 2022 Platinum Jubilee Civic Honours Competition?
One officer was allocated to work alongside Elgin Community Council. Approximately 60 hours was spent in total of various officers time amounting to approximately £2,260 including on costs.

2. What is the total amount budgeted for promotional activities concerning the town's bid during the remainder of the competition?
There is no promotional budget during the application process so no further developments will happen until the result of the competition is known.

3. A full electronic copy of the bid document as submitted to the Government

This information falls under Section 27(1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - information due for publication within 12 weeks. This information will be published on the Moray Council website in early March 2022.
