On 25/08/2021 the Moray Council dredger left Buckie Harbour late morning. Having reached Findochty Harbour she then left early afternoon and returned to her moorings at Buckie.

The question is: did the Selkie return to Buckie Harbour via the spoil ground and if so what volume of spoil did she discharge?

On 25/8/21 MV Selkie dredged at Findochty harbour as planned. The vessel returned directly to Buckie harbour as the weather conditions were outside the prescribed limits for depositing at the spoil ground. The 200T that had been dredged were taken to the spoil ground on the morning of 26/8/21 when the conditions were within the prescribed limits.
