Can you please ask one of your staff to provide a direct answer on whether or not the Council will be changing to an anticipatory position in relation to the provision of alternative format documents and information for disabled people ?

In accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 we confirm that there is no recorded information held which answers your request. 

In order to be helpful however, we can advise that we are always looking at how we can improve our communication. In some cases - for example information in relation to COVID 19, EU settlement, benefits, housing – we have taken proactive steps to provide the information in alternative languages and formats, including BSL. We are currently exploring ways in which all are online information can be provided in alternative languages and formats by the public
