How much Covid emergency funding have the Council received from the Scottish Government, since the start of the pandemic and how much Covid emergency funding has been spent to date, broken down by what the money was spent on?

We have received funding of £22.3 million.  This does not include funding for Scottish Government grants schemes administered by the council.  We have spent as follows:

Discretionary business grants £2.6m, community food initiatives and free school meals £2m, additional teachers & support staff £1.6m, additional building cleaning, sanitisers etc £1m, early learning & childcare (key workers children) £0.5m, supplier support £0.4m, cover for staff shielding / support for people self-isolating £0.3 m, support for vulnerable children £0.2m, reconfigure buildings £0.2m.  Total spend to date £8.8m
