Please could you provide me with some information regarding user engagement and your use of open source and open standards for your digital services?

User engagement
1. When did you last conduct research into how your website users are accessing digital services?
2. How has your digital uptake increased over the past 12 months (as measured by the government’s guidelines)?

3. What percentage of your source code your council develops - or which is developed on your behalf by external parties - is made open?
4. What percentage of your components are standard government technology components?

5. Is your website designed using open standards for government?

Response 25-08-2021

1. We are monitoring once a month using google analytics.
2. Overall contacts with the Council were slightly down due to Covid but Digital contact was up by 34.34% as a percentage of the overall contacts.

4. In accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 please be advised that this information is not held as a %. We use GOV.UK Notify for sending some emails & SMS messages and myAccount (the Scottish equivalent of gov.uk sign in).
5. We try to conform to the WCAG standards and are in the process of meeting AA level by October
