1. How many requests to repeat a school year in 2021/22 has the council received? Please break this down by school year from P1- S6.
2. How many of these requests have been approved by the council? Again, please break this information down by school year.
3. Could you give me the same information – requests and approvals by year – for each of the last 10 years.

In accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 please be advised that information prior to 2018-19 is not held.
Due to the low numbers involved, the year group is exempt under section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 as disclosure could lead to the identification of individuals.
