I'm looking for data about how often your luminaries (light bulbs) and if you have a policy with regards to when they are replaced or upgraded.

Do you still use filament bulbs, if so how many?

I would also like to request the energy consumption that your council uses in monthly & yearly formats.

I'm looking for data about how often your luminaries (light bulbs) and if you have a policy with regards to when they are replaced or upgraded.

The Council replaces luminaires upon failure, typically on a like-for-like basis. Assessments are however undertaken on an ongoing basis to upgrade lighting systems to LED and progressed where cost-effective.

Do you still use filament bulbs, if so how many?

Filament bulbs are still in use in some buildings, however they are limited to seldom accessed/used areas, e.g. store rooms, attics etc. There is no data available on how many. This part of the response is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Not Held.
