I am writing to ask for details on the following:

(1) The number of council tenants on Universal Credit in rent arrears (figure by financial year since 2015)

(2) The total number of council tenants on Universal Credit in rent arrears since UC was rolled out in the local authority.

(3) The percentage of council tenants on Universal Credit in rent arrears.

(4) The average amount of rent arrears (for council tenants on UC).

(5) Whether your local authority plans to allocate money to cover costs associated with the roll-out of Universal Credit and rent arrears.

(1) In accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2012 please be advised that information prior to 2019 is not held. The Council only started collating this information during 2018 following the roll out of Full Service Universal Credit in Moray.
