The Chief Planner, John McNairney, wrote to your Council on 3 March 2020 (copy attached) seeking information by 15 April 2020.

Moray Council had not responded to the Scottish Government formally, as there are no peat extraction works in Moray. The only historic peat working area near Tomintoul has not operated for many years.
