I request from your service the following information:

1. The total number of patients in care facilities issued with a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard between the months March 2020 and August 2020.

2. The number of patients in care facilities with a learning disability issued with a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard between the months March 2020 and August 2020.

3. The total number of patients in care facilities issued with a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard between the months March 2019 and August 2019.

4. The number of patients in care facilities with a learning disability issued with a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard between the months March 2019 and August 2019.

Nil - we have no deprivation of liberty safeguards in Scotland.  This pertains to English legislation.
