Moray Music Centre
“Bringing Moray’s Young Musicians Together”
Moray Music Centre, run by Moray Council’s Music Instruction & Performance Team, part of the Sport & Culture Service, offers school aged children and young people from across Moray who play an orchestral, wind/brass band instrument or like to sing the opportunity to participate in a regional ensemble.
Participation in an ensemble not only develops a young musician’s instrumental playing/singing, teamwork, and listening skills, but has a positive impact on mental health and develops personal and social skills. Being part of Moray Music Centre gives young musicians an opportunity to meet other like-minded children and young people from all over Moray and to play/sing with and learn from their peers.
